Pearls found attached to the inner surface of the shell are known as "Blister Pearls". This happens when an object of an irritant nature lodges between the mantle and the shell.
Some of these are somewhat convex, some are somewhat concave. Some are Peachy-Pink and some are nearly white or a mix of white and tan. Some are quite thick and some are thin. Some have a TON of blister pearls in them and some have almost none. Some will have spots where a previously attached pearl has fallen off. All are beautiful and unique, no two are identical, just as nature planned it.
